Learn Before Deciding Whether to Seek Treatment

These videos are intended to help visitors understand the subjects discussed throughout this website.

Ruqya is often discussed online without sufficient explanation or context. Videos may contain useful information, but a short recording should not be treated as a complete substitute for careful study, qualified scholarship or individual professional advice.

The videos below have therefore been organised into separate sections. Qur’an recitation is kept separate from videos discussing Jinn Catching so that no reciter is presented as endorsing our particular treatment method.

We also provide an original introduction and summary for each recording. This helps visitors understand why it has been included and what matters they should consider while watching.

Using video resources responsibly

How to Judge Ruqya Information Online

A confident speaker, dramatic reaction or popular video does not automatically establish that every claim being made is correct.

1

Check the Foundation

Consider whether the treatment calls upon Allah alone and uses Qur’anic recitation or permissible supplication.

2

Distinguish Evidence From Experience

A practitioner’s personal method or observation should not automatically be described as an established Sunnah.

3

Avoid Absolute Diagnosis

Dreams, pain, anxiety, marriage problems or hardship do not by themselves prove the presence of sihr or jinn.

4

Do Not Abandon Professional Care

Ruqya does not require a person to stop suitable medical, psychological, legal or practical support.

5

Be Careful With Accusations

Accusations of shirk, disbelief or fraud are serious and should not be made without knowledge and reliable evidence.

6

Ask Qualified Scholars

Formal Islamic rulings should be sought from suitably qualified and trustworthy scholars rather than inferred from short online clips.
